Two Brothers
from Small Beginnings
Ken and Geoff are transforming the city of Baltimore with their passionate drive for real estate. They are fun and empathic couple of guys that have a vision for their properties and execute. But what do sheepdogs have to do with real estate?
The name Sheepdog has a special meaning to us - a name inspired by our Dad. He would always refer to the good guys as two kinds of people - sheep and sheep dogs. Sheep are people who are unable to protect themselves, not to any fault of their own. Sheepdogs are the ones who step up, who take charge, who protect the weak, and look after others. Our father would always refer to himself and us as sheep dogs as he wanted us to embody the meaning. To honor his memory, we’ve named our company after this ideology.
Ken is an architect and Geoff is an engineer - initially fully committed to the corporate world. Our real estate journey began when we started looking for homes for ourselves. Geoff settled into a single-family home while Ken purchased a duplex. Ken renovated his residence and rented out one floor of the duplex. What started from Ken’s first home purchase of a duplex has jumpstarted a continued passion for real estate investing and taking on new challenges for both brothers!
